Personal fulfillment is a quest I have uncovered since relocating to Greensboro, NC in 1990. I was placed in foster care at the age of two in Providence KY. I was blessed to be placed with a loving family with a mother who taught me the value of love and faith. At the age of 15, during my first church solo, I learned that I had the ability to touch the hearts and souls of my listeners by taking personal experiences and transcending them into memorable moments for everyone. My style and music can be compared to Earth Wind & Fire's inspirational value, self healing, and love. Vocally, I can be compared to Brian McKnight, Johnny Gill, and Fred Hammond. My writing skills are developing everyday through life experiences. My melodies come from listening to all genres and being alert to unique pitches in my surroundings.
